What if I don’t know how to use Discord?

Don’t worry, once you sign up you can download the Discord app (on Desktop, Android or iOS) and play around with it. It’s essentially a chat room space so you can’t really go wrong. The more you use it, the more you’ll get the hang of it, but here’s a handy tutorial in the meantime.

What does it cost to join?

Joining is FREE! You can create a free Discord account and join our server for free. I wanted to do this to make the community accessible for everyone around the world. If you want to access extended episodes & personal podcast eps, then consider joining the Patreon!

What is the difference between Discord & Patreon?

Discord is a place where we can connect and chat amongst ourselves at no additional cost, while Patreon is a paid membership you can join to access exclusive rewards.

My patrons get access to personal podcast episodes (~30min), extended video episodes (30 extra minutes!), and promo free episodes (no ads!). I’m always adding extra rewards to my Patreon so be sure to check it out!

What is the point of the Discord Server?

The mission of the discord server is to create a space where Latinx artists can connect with each other between episodes! I know a lot of listeners have additional questions and want to find other people at similar points in their career as them, so here’s a free space where we can do that.

Is it available for desktop, android, or OS?

Discord is available to download for desktop (windows or mac), android, and iOS so you can access it no matter what device you use! This means is super fun and easy to join the conversation.

Can I be Anonymous?

Up to you! You can make your profile as anonymous or actual as you’d like, much like all other types of social media.
